I’m not a painter! or I haven’t painted since kindergarten! I can’t believe I’m trying this!!
Don’t worry!! There is absolutely NO experience necessary here at The Uncorked Artist!
There are no critics here, and we want you to leave your perfectionism at the door. We want this experience to be all about you expressing yourself via a blank canvas. A relaxed attitude and giving yourself permission to express yourself are the two most important steps having a great painting experience!
Our friendly instructors step you through the entire painting process—you’ll be amazed with the finished masterpiece that YOU create and take home with you.
Do we need to bring anything with us?
You are encouraged to bring your favorite beverage (BYOB) and any snacks you may enjoy. Guests occasionally have pizza delivered.
We supply everything else!
What should I wear?
Although we have smocks available and all our acrylic paints are water-based (and non-toxic), it is very difficult to get paint out of clothes once it dries. It’s best to immediately wash as much of the paint off your clothes as you possibly can. Just to be safe, you should wear comfortable clothes that you wouldn’t mind getting paint on.
Do we tip the Instructors?
Tips are very much appreciated. The instructor keeps 100% of the tips. Ask our host/hostess if you need change for larger bills, so you can tip your instructor yourself.

For mobile (off-site) parties we typically use either 12×12 or 11×14 canvases.
What if I don’t finish my painting?
We plan enough time during the event, but if for some reason you need more time to finish (no extra charge), check the public calendar for an upcoming public party that is not sold out. Then email Staff@theuncorkedartist.com and let us know that you will be stopping by with your painting to do some touch-ups.
How long will it take for my painting to dry?
It will feel dry to the touch after about 1/2 hour, but will continue to thoroughly dry over the next few days.

After it’s dry to the touch, you can carefully handle it by its edges and transport it face up in your car.

New paintings and party schedules are posted on a rolling basis. Check back often! We try to post events at least a month ahead of time.
I missed a painting that I really want to paint! Do you ever repeat paintings?

What are your FUNdraisers?
We strongly believe in giving back to our community.
We think that creating works of art while raising money for a great cause is an amazing combination!
We hold charitable event fundraisers often.
During our FUNdraising events, everyone can sign-up through our calendar as usual, but on these special sessions, we donate a portion of the event fee (usually half of the registration fee) to the selected charity.
Anyone can attend these events, you do NOT need to be affiliated with the specific charitable group to attend.
Help us give back to the community—visit the FUNdraising page and send us a request to host an event.
Please note, our FUNdraisers are so popular that we tend to schedule them over a year in advance!
And now, we offer Mobile FUNdraisers too!
How do I register for a private party?
Private parties should be reserved at least 1-2 months ahead of time, but can be scheduled many months ahead. Register for a private party by filling out the request form on our Private Party page, telling us your desired date(s) and time(s). We will check availability and get back to you.
Don’t get discouraged if you already see an event on our calendar for the date you are interested in. Our Warminster and Peddler’s Village studios have several rooms. Unless there is already another private party booked, that slot is probably available!
