You and your partner will each paint your own complete canvas. When you're done, each of you can keep half for yourself or hang them together on one wall—they make a wonderful addition to any home!

Two sizes of canvases will be available tonight, the normal 16x20 size canvas you paint may become too large when placed next to your partner's painting, so smaller canvases will be available.

Megan Lankford and her girlfriends formed a small group approximately 8 months ago that is dedicated to providing for the current needs of the city's homeless.  Our group name is People in Need Now (PINN).  On several occassions we have worked with the Helping Hands Rescue Mission which provides clothing, education, food, and spiritual guidance to the city's homeless.  They do this on a regular basis.  Currently, they are struggling to continue to host meals for the homeless due to not having a van to pick up donated food (they rent).  We would like to raise money that the organization can put towards a used van.  This would enable them to pick up needed items.

Paint Your Pet!

Join us for this unique and very individualized painting adventure, as you recreate a masterpiece of your favorite pet!

You send us a digital photo of your pet, then we apply it to your canvas.

Paint your own background color or pattern to match your home decor, then begin creating your totally original pet masterpiece! 

1)  Register for this paint session.

2)  Send us a digital photo of your favorite pet to Tara@TheUncorkedArtist.com. Select a photo that truly captures the personality of your pet. We will silhouette (cut out) the background out of the photo you supply and focus on your pet. It's usually best to have the entire pet's body in the photo.

3) When you arrive at the studio you'll be presented with a canvas that has your pet picture (sealed and primed) ready for painting. The background photo gets completely covered as you paint your original masterpiece on top, but because the proportions are exact, your painting looks just like your pet when you're done!

This is unlike our normal paint parties because each person will have a unique pet photo and there will be very little class instruction, but there will be staff on hand to help you select your palette, assist with any questions you have, and to offer suggestions if needed. You'll work at your own pace, not along with the rest of the attendees.
