Born: In Massachusetts, a Capricorn, in 1976 (Grew up outside of Pittsburgh, PA though)
Spent all of her 20’s in: Southern Maine
Why she loves to create art: It keeps her in the moment and it’s something that makes her lose all sense of time, … Her canvas will always need “just a little more” paint!
Things that inspire her: nature, mood, Frida Kahlo, dreams, the human figure, animals, color, change, sadness, joy, boredom, experience, fear, music, etc…
Type of art she loves to create: Paintings, Ceramic sculpture, Photography, Collage, Ink Drawings… Pretty much anything!

Things she loves to do (besides art): snuggle with her toddler, swim in lakes and rivers, arm wrestle, yoga, ski, go for boat rides, camp, go thrift-shopping & trash-picking, ride horses, hiking, traveling, photography, read, lounge in hammocks, write, swim, people-watch, go barefoot, crochet.
Things she loves to eat: fried clams, baby spinach, sushi, French fries, fresh tomatoes & basil, bacon, pizza, lobster rolls, salty & buttery things, ice cream.
Things she loves the smell of: her baby’s hair, pine trees, popcorn, grass, coffee, dirt, campfires, citrus of any kind, patchouli, lake water, gasoline, lavender, rubbing alcohol, oil paints, cedar, coconut, bacon, clean sheets.
Things she likes to look at: my baby, trees, snowfall, animals, flea markets, farms, sunsets, bubbles, all things vintage, campfires, people, insects, antiques, Mexican folk art, thunderstorms, old architecture, pin-up girl calendars, gardens, Pinterest, rivers.
Things she likes the sound of: her baby’s laugh, loons, the cello, steamboats, campfire, rain on a roof, the ocean & seagulls, classical piano & guitar, motorcycles, typing, gentle snoring, horse hooves.
